Each year the Austin Division of Time Warner Cable runs thousands of 30-second public service announcements (PSAs) on more than 40 different cable networks, such as Nickelodeon and News 8 Austin. Similar to commercials, these PSAs highlight non-profit organizations like the Girl Scouts of America or the Capital Area Food Bank.

Time Warner Cable gives students like you a chance to write their own PSA highlighting their school, teacher or community organization. The winning competitors will have the opportunity to work with professional Time Warner Cable production staff with state-of-the-art facilities to produce their PSA. The final videos will be run on Time Warner Cable networks.
